Frequently Asked Questions
La Casa Celeste is a traditional bed and breakfast, and if you've stayed mostly in hotels or rented holiday vacation rentals (like AirBnB), it's worth knowing what makes that different — and we think, special. Unlike a hotel, we are a small, family-run property: you'll be sharing a beautiful home with just a handful of other guests, and you'll likely cross paths with us — your hosts — over breakfast or around the pool. Unlike a vacation rental, we are present, attentive, and genuinely invested in your stay — available to recommend a winery, sort out a problem, or simply chat over a glass of local Barbera. Breakfast is freshly prepared each morning using local and seasonal ingredients, and we provide a different warm option along with the traditional continental fare. We've put together the questions below to help you feel at home before you've even arrived..
Do you offer early check-in or late check-out?
Do you offer lunch and dinner?
No, we do not offer early or late check-in / check-out. Because we are a small, family-run property, we need time to maintain the property. If you arrive early, you are welcome to leave your baggage while you explore the area. We ask that you honor the 11 am check-out so that we have time to prepare the room for other guests.
No, we only offer breakfast. Our business classification as a traditional Bed and Breakfast includes a morning meal, but does not allow us to offer a full-service menu, which would require a restaurant license. We do offer some drinks and/or alcohol for purchase, and we have some pre-packaged snacks available. There are numerous restaurants within a five-minute drive.
Can we use the kitchen?
No, our business license classification does not allow the use of the kitchen by guests due to health code violations.
Can we use the pool before check-in / after check-out?
No, house amenities, including the pool and game room begin and end with check-in and check-out.
Can we bring our pets?
We do not allow pets besides our own on the property.
